Project Bidding Procedures

Sentinel Builders will seek out qualified subcontractors to ensure the presence of capable, accomplished project team members. In this effort we will pay close attention to the capabilities of the sub-contractors, which include:

• “Open Book” approach to trade bidding

• Responsiveness of the bid

• The quality of their work

• Their demonstrated ability to meet or, as a goal, accelerate the project schedule

• Ensuring that they share in our overall commitment to safety

• A commitment to an environmentally responsible construction

Construction Phase

The focus during the construction phase will be on enforcing effective cost and schedule control measures and carefully monitoring the construction while maintaining a safe and orderly construction site.

During the construction phase we will:

• Assign skilled personnel, observe construction progress and establish effective lines of communication.

• We will maintain competent supervisory staff to coordinate and provide general direction of the work and progress of the contractors on the Project.

• We will supervise and coordinate the work as it is being performed, until final completion and acceptance by the end user and architect to assure that the materials furnished and work performed are in accordance with working drawings and specifications. Through detailed organization, establish lines of authority in order to carry out the overall plans of the construction team.
